Hiplife veteran Okyeame Kwame says his youthful look is the result of intentional lifestyle habits, not genetics or luck, stressing that his daily choices around food and discipline play a major role in how he maintains his health and appearance.
Speaking on Channel One TV’s Face to Face on Tuesday, April 7, the rapper explained that his eating patterns and hydration habits are central to his wellness routine, which he has maintained for years.
“I think it is a lot of water. I eat a lot of plants, I eat a lot of fibre, food that is kind to my intestines. I don’t eat anything after 5 PM,” he shared.
He went on to unpack how he interprets hunger signals, noting that people often misread cravings as genuine hunger and end up eating unnecessarily.
“Usually that feeling you get of hunger is just craving. So if you fill your stomach with warm water, dark chocolate in the evening and you sleep, your stomach might think that you are actually full because you are so used to eating something hot that sometimes you get the cravings and you think you are hungry. That signal could be conflicting,” he said.
Now approaching 50 on April 17, Okyeame Kwame has consistently drawn attention for his youthful energy and appearance, which he attributes to long-term discipline, mindful eating, and a structured approach to health.
