Ghanaian fashion personality Osebo the Zaraman has reached out to Bishop Daniel Obinim with an apology following a promotional video he featured in with the preacher’s wife, Florence Obinim.
Osebo explained that the video was never intended to disrespect Bishop Obinim or fuel any misunderstanding between them, stressing that his support for Florence came from a genuine place.
Speaking on Hitz FM on July 13, 2026, Osebo said he values his friendship with the founder of International God’s Way Church and wanted to clarify his intentions after the issue sparked public discussion.
“If my friend Daniel Obinim feels it was wrong for me to do a video with his wife, I’m sorry. Whatever I did for her was from a clean heart,” Osebo stated.
The fashion icon said he had no motive beyond supporting Florence Obinim’s music career, adding that he has extended similar support to other gospel musicians without any hidden agenda.
“I have done videos for Piesie Esther and Grace Asley; I did it out of love. It was not meant to bring confusion between them,” he noted.
Osebo’s comments come after Bishop Obinim expressed disappointment during a church service over Florence’s decision to collaborate with Osebo on the promotional video. The preacher suggested that his wife was aware of the strained relationship between himself and the fashion personality before agreeing to the project.
Florence Obinim later addressed the matter, insisting that she had no intention of causing conflict and that her decision was simply based on seeking support to promote her music.
While apologising for any concerns his action may have caused, Osebo maintained his respect and admiration for Florence, describing her as a person with a good character and praising the messages carried in her songs.
