“It Is Her Body, So She Can Rush” – Dr Zilla Limann Defends Wendy Shay

Dr Zilla Limann

Dr Zilla Limann has defended Wendy Shay’s decision to move Lasmid’s hands away from her thighs, saying the singer had every right to respond when she felt uncomfortable.

The wife of Ghanaian hiplife musician Reggie Rockstone made the remarks during a discussion with her husband about the viral moment involving the two artistes.

According to Dr Zilla, Wendy Shay’s reaction should not be viewed negatively simply because the incident occurred while a music video was being filmed. She explained that although artistes work with a planned concept on set, every action that takes place during a shoot is not necessarily scripted.

She therefore called on social media users to ease the criticism directed at Wendy Shay, insisting that the singer was entitled to express her discomfort.

“So what is the issue right now? But video sets are not scripted to the T, so if you’re in the process of the set and someone does something you don’t like, you can express it,” she said.

Dr Zilla also praised Wendy Shay for handling the situation calmly instead of turning it into a bigger confrontation.

She maintained that the singer should not allow the reaction from critics to make her question how she responded, stressing that she should be comfortable with setting boundaries over her body.

“In this case, she didn’t make a big deal about it. In fact, if not for the fact that you pointed it out, I would have missed it. Make she rush. It is her body, so she can rush,” Zilla stated in English and Pidgin.
