Porn star LuLu LoveBottom died by suicide at his Los Angeles home, according to his death certificate obtained by TMZ.
LoveBottom, whose legal name was Lucas Edward Drake, died on September 7. The certificate records the manner of death as suicide, although the specific cause of death has not yet been determined and remains deferred pending further investigation.
No other significant conditions were listed on the death certificate. The document also states that LoveBottom was cremated following his death.
LoveBottom’s death had previously been reported after law enforcement sources said officers responded to a call involving an apparent suicide at his home.
Shortly before his death, LoveBottom posted a final message on Instagram that appeared to be a farewell to those close to him.
“I love you and I’m sorry I was unable to make it to the end. GOODBYE FOREVER. Love, LuLu.”
His roommate, Michael, later said LoveBottom died in his room. He also invited friends and family to a gathering in the backyard to remember and celebrate his life.
The newly obtained death certificate provides an official record of the circumstances surrounding LoveBottom’s death, while the medical cause remains pending further investigation.
