Trey Haun Wins Medals For Ghana

Trey Haun has added gold and another bronze to his accolades at the ongoing Unicycle World Championship in the United States.

In 2022, representing Ghana at the Unicycling Convention and World Championships in France, Trey won two medals – a bronze and silver.

Trey and his father live in Nalerigu, Northern Ghana. He first arrived in Ghana at the age of one from the USA and has spent more than half his life in Nalerigu.

According to his father, William Haun, Trey received the name ‘Manboora’ from Naa Bɔhagu, the Overlord of Mamprugu.

Trey speaks Mamprusi and, together with his father, has established the “Mamprusi Unicycling Club,” a free academy aimed at training kids in the Northeast Region in unicycling.
