The Volta Regional Police Command has arrested three persons for engaging in fraudulent recruitment at Akatsi.
The three ;Godson Wemegah 21, Bernard Amenyah 18 and Godsway Adzikah 23 were engaged in a fraudulent act of giving assistance to applicants to be enlisted into the Ghana Police Service.
The Volta Regional Police Commander DCOP Edward Oduro Kwarteng noted that the suspects were apprehended following a fraudulent Facebook publication to have been created by the Volta Regional Police.
In a press release signed by the PRO of the Volta Regional Police, DSP Effia Tenge noted that many victims have paid various sums of money to the fraudsters.
