“I Don’t Want to Go Hungry Again” — Fameye Reveals Pain Behind His Drive

Fameye

Ghanaian artiste Fameye has shed light on the lived experiences that shape both his music and the intensity behind his work ethic.

He made the remarks during an appearance on Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, where the conversation turned to the source of inspiration behind his songs.

McBrown pointed out that his music often draws from his personal journey. In response, Fameye explained that his songwriting is rooted entirely in what he has been through.

“What else can I talk about? I sing about what affects me. I’ve been through poverty before and I know how it feels,” he said.

He added that his drive and consistency in music are powered by a determination to never return to the hardships of his past.

“That is why I am hustling this hard. I don’t want to experience poverty again. I don’t want to go hungry again,” Fameye stated.
