After days of online chatter sparked by her interview with businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, media personality Delay has finally addressed the backlash surrounding the interview.
The conversation, which focused heavily on Quaye’s relationship history and his ongoing divorce from Joana Coffie, quickly drew mixed reactions. While some viewers engaged with the discussion, others questioned the depth and direction of the interview.
Critics on social media argued that the exchange fell short of Delay’s usual standard. A section of users went further, alleging bias and suggesting that her line of questioning appeared to favour Quaye’s narrative over claims made by his former partner.
As the debate intensified, one X user openly challenged both the businessman’s account and Delay’s approach, writing, “His stories never add up. Delay should interview his ex, too, and let’s see.
“Oh, I think her questions are sometimes shallow, but I don’t think she’d show bias even if she has one. Should she bring Joana on, it would be too obvious,” the user noted.
Delay did not hold back in her response, pushing back against the criticism and questioning the authority of her detractors.
“We should come on a show with shallow questions? Since you’re a better presenter, maybe you should interview her yourself!
“I don’t ask questions for myself. Thanks,” the popular Ghanaian media personality stated.
