Municipal Chief Executive for Weija-Gbawe in the Greater Accra, Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor has arrested a young man, Abdul Fataw for dumping refuse into the Weija River.
Abdul Fataw who works with a drinking spot close to the Weija Dam was captured on video dumping refuse from a waste bin into the Weija River.
The incident was reported to the MCE, Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor who led the arrest.
Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor noted that they would not allow people to derail the success chalked by the Municipality.
He indicated that the young man Abdul Fataw would be put before court to serve as a deterrent to others.
