Banda: 7 People Arrested In Connection With Murder Of A Teacher At Banda

Seven persons have been arrested and are currently in the grips of the Bono Police Command following the murder of a 28-year-old teacher at Banda.

The arrest follows the stabbing to death of 28-year-old teacher, Silas Wulochamey by unknown persons last week.

Silas later died at the Wenchi Methodist Hospital when he was rushed there.

The Public Relations Officer of the Bono Regional Police Command, Chief Inspector Kingsley Augustine Oppong in an interview with First News confirmed that the seven suspects have been arrested.

“Fortunately yesterday we were able to arrest seven persons who are currently being interviewed and statement being taking from them to enable us send them to court.”

Chief Superintendent Oppong indicated that calm has returned to Banda.

He called on the people to give every information they have about the incident to the police.
