COVID-19: Deputy CEO Of CODA Was On Oxygen For 12 Days

The Deputy Chief Executive of Coastal Development Authority (CODA), Mr Kingsley Karikari Bondzie was on oxygen for twelve (12) consecutive days whiles undergoing COVID-19 treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

Mr Kingsley Karikari Bondzie sharing his experience noted that he does not know where he contracted the disease.

He would feel some diziness, weakness and chills every evening, it was at this point that he was advised to go to the hospital. He visited the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital where his sample was taken for COVID-19 test and subsequently tested positive.

Mr. Bonzie indicated how he was saved by God after undergoing treatment for COVID-19, “I have gone through serious pains during my treatment and I do not wish this disease for anyone not even my enemies.I was only save by God.”

He debunked the thoughts of using the neem tree as cure for COVID-19 because he tried it and never worked but rather his sickness got worse after taking it with lemons and a couple of local concoctions.

On the issue of stigmatization, he indicated how his family and some close associates have been stigmatized because of his condition.
