Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny is alleged to have been poisoned and currently in coma.
Alexei Navalny was on a flight back to Moscow from Siberia when he became ill.
Secretary of the opposition leader, Kira Yarmysh says the Navalny have been poisoned with substance in his tea.
“I am sure this was deliberate poisoning,” she said, added that she suspected a cup of black tea he drank at an airport cafe was the source.
Anatoly Kalinichenko, deputy chief doctor at Omsk hospital noted that Navalny was brought to the facility unconscious and on a ventilator.
The family and supporters of Navalyn have not been allowed to see him. He has however arrived in Berlin for further treatment.
Navalny’s Foundation for Fighting Corruption has been exposing graft among government officials, including some at the highest level.
