Mark Okraku Mantey Approved As Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts And Culture

Parliament’s Appointment Committee has approved Mark Okraku Mantey as the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arta and Culture.

Mark Okraku Mantey would be deputising Mohammed Awal.

Mark Okraku Mantey wrote  on his Facebook Wall , “I am grateful to the members of Ghana’s parliament for approving my nomination as Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture. I applaud the Appointments Committee for the good work. Thank you.”

Okraku Mantey begun music production in 1996. As the founder of Slip Music, he has worked with artists including Oheneba Kissi, Lord Kenya, Daasebre Gyamena, Adane Best, Akyeame and Kumi Guitar. He was also an executive producer of TV comedy series Efiewura.

Mr Okraku-Mantey also helped organise some of Ghana big events including the MTN Highlife Festival. He is also a member of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award board.
