Shatta Wale has stated that he is still in disbelief after witnessing the massive fans who filled Independence Square on October 18, 2025, for Shatta Fest 2025.
After the historic night, the Ghanaian dancehall artiste paid a visit to the headquarters of Mobile Money Limited (MTN Ghana) on October 20 to personally extend his gratitude for their partnership and support in making the event a success.
“I’m so happy that this time, I got you on one of my shows. It has always been my dream to also work with your entity,” he said during his visit.
Shatta Wale expressed deep appreciation for the collaboration, noting that while he has always been aware of his immense fan base, the turnout far surpassed anything he had ever imagined.
“I’m still shocked at the crowd. Maybe you’ll think I have the following, but God is bringing us together to motivate the youth,” he said.
He also reaffirmed his readiness to continue working with MTN Ghana and other corporate partners, promising to lend his support whenever needed.
“I’m always available for any collaboration and support that I can also offer your office,” he added.
Shaibu Haruna, CEO of Mobile Money Ghana, shared Shatta Wale’s astonishment at the turnout, admitting he had underestimated the artiste’s influence and fan loyalty.
“I had no clue the kind of following you have. I obviously knew you had a powerful following, but this weekend was extra special,” Haruna averred.
