Minister For Chieftaincy Not Dead – NPP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dispelled reports that its MP for Ahanta West, Ebenezer Kojo Kum is not dead.

Mr Kum who is also the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs was reported dead Wednesday morning by some news portals.

Although he had been ill for sometime, his party says he is doing well and has been discharged.

Issah Fuseini, the Western Regional Director of Communications for the NPP who spoke to host of Dwaboase, Kwame Minkah, on Power 97.9 FM stated that Kojo Kum has been discharged.

“He is doing well,” Fuseini stated. “I don’t know what people want to achieve with this reports.”

Asked when the legislator is returning to Parliament, Fuseini said, “I can’t tell when he is reporting to Parliament.”
