The Nkrankwanta community located in the Dormaa West District of the Bono Region has been thrown into a state of mourning following the death of two persons in Sunday’s accident at Asuboi in Eastern Region.
Venn Yeboah, a Level 200 Social Science student of the University of Education and Adwoa Falida were among the nine persons who died over the weekend in the Asuboi accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The death of Venn Yeboah and Adwoa Falida spread like wildfire in the community last Sunday.
The Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu Banhene, in a press statement has commiserated with the bereaved families.
Those who sustained injuries are also receiving treatment at the Suhum Government Hospital.
