VIDEO:Arise Ghana Demo Goes Bloody
Demonstration by pressure group Arise Ghana has gone bloody Police personnel fired tear gas on agitated the protestors during their demonstration at the Obra Spot near the Kwame Nkrumah interchange.
Some protesters in the ongoing Arise Ghana demonstration have asked President Akufo-Addo to step down if he cannot govern the country anymore.
The demonstrators who lamented the worsening economic difficulties asked the President to institute measures that will immediately bring relieve to them.
Some of them said, they cannot afford to eat twice a day, which is causing misunderstandings in their homes.
Videos from the scene show some protestors pelting stones at the police personnel. There were also massive damages to some vehicles including a police van that was parked by the roadside.
