A good Samaritan, Desire Goku has rescued a one and half year-old boy who fell into an uncovered well at Konkonma a suburb of Yeji in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region.
The boy fell into an uncovered well located in the Konkonma community while her mother had gone to purchase an item within the vicinity.
Desire Goku speaking to First News said, ” I was passing by when I saw a crowd gathered around the well, and drew close there to find out what the problem was. Upon reaching there I saw a little inside so I had to get in to rescue him.”
The boy who was not hurt has reunited with his mother. According to the mother of the boy, Dorcas Agyidu, she left the child among the other children on the campus to purchase ingredients to prepare food when the incident happened.
” I thank the man for rescuing my child for me, God richly bless him for what he has done.”
