Radio Presenter Crashed To Death At Yeji

A radio presenter, Peter Asabesi working with Yeji-based Gyimah FM, lost his life in a ghastly accident.

Information available to First News is that a pure water truck which was overtaking a tricycle crashed the late radio presenter who was on his motorcycle riding in the opposite direction.

When the incident happened he rushed to the St Mathias Hospital at Yeji and was later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi where he died.

Peter Asabesi popularly called Efo or Akurugu by his avid listeners was the mid-morning show host until his death.

He started his radio career with Yeji-based Alive FM before joining Gyimah FM.

The body of the deceased is currently at the morgue at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi
