Bernard Avle Wins Best Communicator At EMY Africa Awards

Bernard Avle, host of Citi Breakfast Show has won the PAV Ansah Communicator Award at this year’s EMY Africa Awards.

The Vice President Dr.Mahamadu Bawumia speaking at the awards ceremony commended the organizers for putting together the awards and believe it will go along way to motivate people to go in for excellence in whatever they do.

“I praised the organisers for setting up this incredible award scheme to celebrate people. Congratulations. to all winners and I urge them to continue influencing society positively.”

Other award winners include: Discovery of the year, Free The Youth, Lanre Olusola,Guadian Award Winner. Man of the Technology Award Winner, Andrew Takyi and Man of the Year Health Award Winner, Dr. Elikem Tamakloe.

Life time Achievement Award went to Veteran Broadcast Journalist, Joe Lartey, Creative and Support Art Winner, Tony Tomety.

The rest of the award winners were Man of the Year Award Winner Ibrahim Mahama,Woman of the Year Award Winner Professor Elsie Kaufmann, Man of the Year-Africa Winner Dr. Akiwumi A. Adesina, Magnate Award Winner Kwame Ofosu Bamfo.

Others include; Green Corporate Star Award Coliba, winner of this year’s Man of Style Award Trevor Stuurman, Continental Icon Award for Music Michael Ajereh, Continental Film Icon Richard Mofe Damijo, Young Achiever Male Award Richie Mansah, Brand of the Year Caveman Watch, Man of the Year Music Kofi Kinaata, Men Group of the Year Rotary Club.

Media Excellence went to Ayo Animashaun, Actor of the Year Adjetey Anang, Man of Courage Winner Nii Quaye Brown, Settler of the year Amar Deep Sign Hari, Year Achiever of the Year Female, Audrey Swatson.
