Ghanaian comedian, OB Amponsah, has added another milestone to his career, winning the 2025 Ultimate Comic Challenge at The Idiot Box Comedy Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The grand finale brought together some of the sharpest comedic acts in the region, with OB claiming the top spot ahead of runner-up Seth Payne, while Jay Stadler took third place.
Sharing his excitement in a Facebook post, OB wrote, “Holy smokes! We won gold! God is good! I am the Ultimate Comic. Can you believe that? Damnnn!” He called the moment “surreal” and said he was “beyond ecstatic.”
The comedian expressed deep gratitude to the competition’s organizers, his fellow contestants, and the Greensboro crowd for their support. He gave special recognition to club owner Jennie Stencel for her unwavering encouragement.
OB also fondly recalled performing alongside fellow finalists Seth, Troy, Artsy, Ethan, and Jay Stadler, describing the event as a treasured highlight in his comedy journey.
