Aburi Police Station Has No Toilet Facility For Junior Officers
Information available to First News is that there is no toilet facility for junior officers at the Aburi Police Station in the Eastern Region.
Junior police officers at the station who want to attend nature’s call have to leave the police station and go to their respective homes because the toilet meant for them has not been functioning for some months.
The water closet is broken down.First News has gathered that the toilet is locked up and waste materials have been packed there.
However, senior officers at the station have individual toilet facilities.
Few officers who spoke on condition of anonymity say the situation is worrying.
“You can imagine what we are going through, you have to leave the station if you are on duty to go home to attend nature’s call, this is bad and something must be done about it,” they appealed.
Efforts to speak to the leadership at the station were unsuccessful.
