Roads in Krachi township in the Krachi West Municipality in the Oti Region are receiving a massive facelift from the government.
Hitherto some of the notable town roads to some of the suburbs which were untarred have for the first time in the history of the town have been tarred.
Notable among the roads include; Foreman Junction to Kadentwe, Prisons to Krachi Senior High Technical School. Others include; Post Office to Residence roads.
The tarring of the roads was carried out by First Sky Construction Limited.
Residents are happy with the development after they have battled with dust for decades.
Frank Owusu, a resident in an Interview with First News said, “ We are grateful to the government for considering Krachi, we have really suffered with dust especially during the dry season it is worse.”
Ama Gyingyi who sells along the Kadentwe road could not hide his joy.
“ I thank God for the life of President Akufo-Addo for giving us this nice road, I never thought in my life that this road would ever be tarred.”
