Mohammed Issifu, a 31-year-old artisan has escaped from the Kitase Police Cell in the Akuapem South Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Mohammed Issifu who is a native of Paga in the Upper East Region is alleged to have caused the death of somebody by knocking the person with a car.
He was arrested and detained at the Kitase Police Cell but he escaped.
The Kitase Police are currently on a manhunt for Mohammed Issifu who stays at Aburi Frenchline.
The police are thus urging the public to assist to rearrests the suspect.
