Justin Kodua Receives Vetting Committee’s Report, Reaffirms Free And Fair Elections
The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Justin Kodua Frimpong has received the report of the just ended Presidential vetting from the Vetting Committee led by Professor Aron Mike Ocqauye.
Ten persons who were vetted include, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, a former General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Kwadwo Poku, an Energy Expert, Mr. Alan Kyerematen, a former Trade and Industry Minister, and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The rest were Mr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a former Food and Agriculture Minister, Mr. Boakye Agyarko, a former Energy Minister, Mr. Edward Addai-Nimo, a former MP for Asante Mampong, and Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, an Economist.
Justin Kodua Frimpong after receiving the report wrote on his Facebook wall.
“I received the Vetting Committee’s report this afternoon on behalf of the National leadership. I expressed my appreciation to the group for their efforts. I also reaffirmed the leadership’s commitment to ensuring a free, fair, peaceful, and transparent election process.”
