The Patriotic Youth for NPP in the Savannah Region are mourning the sudden death of Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, the Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency and Deputy Minister of Finance, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, 7th Much, 2024.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Patriotic Youth for NPP in the Savannah Region, Alhassan Haruna reads , “Our hearts are heavy, and our eyes are filled with tears. May the good Lord forgive him his shortcomings and grant his soul eternal rest in His Bosom.”
The statement also reads, “The Patriotic Youth for NPP in the Savannah Region extends their heartfelt condolences to his family, the Ejisu constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party, and the nation as a whole.”
He also held the distinction of being the first Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
His sudden death is a profound loss to his family, the New Patriotic Party, and the entire nation.
