Investigative journalist and author Manasseh Azure Awuni is set to launch a new book titled The President Ghana Never Got, focusing on President Akufo-Addo.
The 400-page book chronicles significant events during Akufo-Addo’s eight-year tenure and will be unveiled on August 8, 2024, at the Christ the King Parish Hall, opposite Jubilee House in Accra.
This latest work is part of Manasseh’s ongoing series on Ghana’s successive governments. In 2016, as former President John Dramani Mahama prepared to leave office, Manasseh released The Fourth John: Reign, Rejection & Rebound, a book examining Mahama’s presidency.
The President Ghana Never Got promises to be a compelling read, shedding light on the nuances and factors that influenced key decisions of the current administration.
