Guru, whose full name is Maradona Yeboah Adjei, has been disqualified from running in the University of Ghana’s Students’ Representative Council (SRC) elections.
Guru, along with his running mate Lawrence Edinam Egleh, was disqualified by the UG SRC Vetting Committee due to their non-residential status.
The disqualification has caused a stir on campus, as Guru was widely regarded as a frontrunner in the election.
