Ghanaian musician, Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., has revealed why he is not ready to compose a song for any political party.

The famous Ghanaian artiste declared his stance during an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM.

Explaining why won’t compose a song for any political party in Ghana, the ‘Matters of the Heart’ composer said he does not want to be tagged as a sympathizer of any of the parties.

However, if he is contacted by any political party to perform at their events, Akwaboah averred he would accept to perform because he considers that as a business.

Also, the Ghanaian musician elucidated that instead of composing songs for political parties, he would rather compose a unity song for Ghana or something that Ghanaians would benefit from.

His statement comes at the time some Ghanaian musicians are composing campaign songs for political parties ahead of the 2024 elections in the country.
