Popular Ghanaian radio presenter and DJ Andy Dosty has responded to reports about his reconciliation with Shatta Wale.
Amid rumors of a strained relationship between the Hitz FM presenter and the Shatta Movement leader, a video surfaced recently showing Shatta Wale apologizing to Andy Dosty.
The two crossed paths at the 60th birthday concert of Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, held in Dansoman, Accra, last weekend. In the video, Shatta Wale approached Andy, who was the DJ for the event, and playfully tried to kiss him, but Andy resisted. Later, Shatta Wale embraced Andy and apologized for any past wrongdoings.
Addressing the situation on Hitz FM, Andy Dosty clarified that there had never been any serious issues between them. During a discussion with Kwame Dadzie, Andy stated that he and Shatta Wale have always maintained a good relationship. When asked if he would still play Wale’s songs and interview him, Andy confirmed that he had always done so, indicating there was no lingering tension.
Andy Dosty also shared that he had listened to Wale’s latest album, SAFA, and mentioned “Accra” as his favorite track.
