Ghanaian Gospel singer Piesie Esther recently shared her initial misconceptions about social media.

She admitted that when it first gained popularity, she thought it might have been created by ‘Maame Water.’

This early suspicion about social media’s potential negative impact initially kept her from using it. However, in a recent interview with Adom FM, the ‘W’aye Me Yie’ singer explained that she now appreciates the many benefits of social media.

“We always heard about the negative side of social media…At first, I thought it was linked to Maame Water when it became so popular,” she said.

“But I’ve come to realize that social media is an essential part of our lives. It’s far from what we once thought, and everyone should embrace it to help their ministry or business. Things have really changed.”

Piesie Esther is now preparing for the third edition of her annual ‘Made By Grace’ concert, set to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

The event will feature performances by artists such as Amy Newman, Nana Yaw Asare, Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum, Perez Musik, and Sammy Baah.
