With just days to go before Ghana’s 2024 elections, Efia Odo has made a bold prediction about the country’s next president.
The Ghanaian socialite took to social media to share her forecast, stating in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will emerge victorious.
She wrote: “The next president of Ghana is Bawumia.”
However, Efia Odo did not provide any explanation for her assertion.
Interestingly, despite her prediction, Efia clarified that she does not necessarily plan to vote for Dr. Bawumia. When accused by an X user of being bribed to make the statement, she responded:
“I didn’t say I’m voting for Bawumia; I said he’s winning the election. Even if I tweeted Mahama or Cheddar is winning, you would’ve said I’ve taken a bribe 😌.”
Ghanaians are set to head to the polls on December 7, 2024, to elect their next president.
