Joe Mettle complains about subpar airplanes flying to Ghana

Ghanaian gospel artist Joe Mettle has expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of airplanes assigned to Ghana-bound flights, raising concerns in a post on X on December 1, 2024.

The award-winning musician criticized the disparity between the substandard planes flown to Ghana and the superior aircraft provided to other African destinations, despite the high cost of tickets.

“Hi family. There’s something that’s been bothering me, and I need your thoughts,” Mettle began. “I’ve traveled a bit and noticed that many planes coming to Ghana are far from the best compared to those flying to other African countries. Why is that?”

He further questioned the inconsistency, pointing out that even destinations with shorter flight distances often receive higher-quality planes.

“And many times, the flight distance is even way shorter, and they still get better planes. Is it because we accept whatever is offered and don’t demand better? And oh boy, these tickets are not cheap,” he concluded.
