‘On God’ Wasn’t a Shot at Me – Andy Dosty Refutes Diss Claims

Shatta Wale apologizes to Andy Dosty

Famous Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty, has shut down speculation that Shatta Wale’s viral single ‘On God’ was a veiled diss aimed at him. He insisted that the rumours are unfounded and misrepresent his bond with Wale.

Speaking on Prime TV, the Hitz FM presenter addressed the growing chatter on social media, emphasizing that there’s no tension between the two. In fact, Andy said he holds both the song and Shatta Wale in high regard.

“No I don’t think he did the song for me. Shatta Wale is a great guy and we cool now. I think the song is a beautiful piece of news, I love it. It’s a nice song,” he stated.

Andy Dosty went on to share a lesser-known fact about the track’s production, recalling a moment that deepened his appreciation for Shatta’s creative skillset. “I was surprised when he mentioned to me that `chaleyy you know I produced it and I only got someone to come do the sags. Apart from that whatever you’re hearing is coming from me’. I said wooow. This is my guy and I don’t need anyone to tell me about him,” he recounted.

He also pushed back on the online narrative that often paints them as rivals. While fans may be fueling imaginary feuds, Andy revealed that the two are frequently spotted enjoying time together, far removed from the social media drama.

“Sometimes, people will be fighting on social media and we will be driving around town having fun,” he added.
