Efia Odo is pushing back against what she sees as needless division in the Ghanaian music scene, she targeted Keche Joshua’s recent praise of Yaa Jackson.
In a viral video, Keche Joshua commended Yaa Jackson’s latest track and stirred debate by boldly claiming she sings better than Gyakie. The comment immediately set social media ablaze, drawing sharp reactions from music fans and celebrities alike.
Among the most outspoken critics was Efia Odo, who condemned the comparison as counterproductive and damaging to industry unity.
“There’s enough room on the table for everyone to enjoy. No need to bring someone down to uplift another,” she wrote in response to the uproar.
Odo didn’t stop there. She pointed to a deeper issue within Ghana’s entertainment space, an unhealthy obsession with competition that often undermines the collective growth of artists.
“This is our main problem in the industry! Everyone wants to be the only one on top when the sky is big enough for all of us,” she added, calling for an end to the rivalries that frequently pit musicians against one another.
