Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, better known as Nana Agradaa, has launched a blistering counterattack online following her courtroom loss to gospel star Empress Gifty. After a judge tossed out her injunction request in a GH¢20 million defamation case, Agradaa wasted no time reigniting the feud on social media.
The two outspoken personalities returned to the Tema High Court on June 26, 2025, marking their second showdown since Empress Gifty filed the defamation suit. During proceedings, Justice P. Baffoe-Bonnie rejected Agradaa’s attempt to block the case and penalized her with a GH¢6,000 fine for her unsuccessful legal bid.
But Agradaa was far from deterred.
In a fiery video posted shortly after the ruling, she dared her critics—and the courts—to try stopping her from speaking out.
“The only thing you people need is an injunction. If you manage to get one that stops me from coming on social media, I will throw my Bible away. You’re a joker. If you attack me, I’ll strip you bare,” she said, escalating the standoff with unfiltered bravado.
Casting herself as the real target, Agradaa accused Empress Gifty of throwing the first verbal punches while hiding behind legal cover once the heat got turned up.
“You start a fight and insult me first. But when I respond, you run to court seeking an injunction. I’ll deal with you on social media. You can go to court a hundred times,” she warned.
She didn’t stop there. In an unexpected turn, Agradaa hinted that she might soon launch a defamation lawsuit of her own.
“I’ll massage and discipline you online. I also have the right to sue for defamation, especially when Sammy Gyamfi gave me money and you insulted me for it.”
With the verbal crossfire heating up and no signs of either side backing down, the next chapter of this courtroom drama unfolds on July 16, 2025, when both parties are expected to reappear in court.
