Ghanaian artiste Fameye has shared his enduring admiration for hiplife artiste Okomfour Kwadee, expressing a heartfelt desire to collaborate musically with the veteran performer.
During an interview with 3Music TV, Fameye, known for his introspective style and hits like “Notin I Get”, revealed his persistent attempts to make the collaboration a reality.
“I’ve tried several times to have a collaboration with him,” he said, describing his efforts to connect with Kwadee on a project. While the much-anticipated partnership is yet to happen, Fameye remains optimistic. “I’ve even recorded songs hoping to feature Okomfour Kwadee, but it didn’t happen,” he added.
His reverence for the hiplife pioneer led him to record a tribute track titled Okomfour Kwadee, dedicated to celebrating the legend’s impact on Ghanaian music.
Fameye, mindful of the personal struggles Kwadee has faced in recent years, concluded by emphasizing his ongoing support. He noted that he continues to stand by the artist whenever possible, showing both loyalty and respect for the influential figure.
