“I Don’t Mind Dating Older Women If There’s Genuine Connection” – James Gardiner Opens Up

James Gardiner

Ghanaian actor James Gardiner has opened up about his views on relationships, particularly the idea of dating older women, a topic that often divides opinion.

His comments, made in an interview with Nollywire and later shared on Instagram, sparked lively conversations online.

For Gardiner, age is not the deciding factor in choosing a partner. He emphasized that the strength of the bond between two people outweighs societal expectations.

“It depends… There is this picture we try to give women who are like that. If the person thinks the criteria for who I am looking for, I am not all about looks, by the way. But at least it shouldn’t be like I am with my mother.

“I don’t really mind if there is a connection. Age isn’t just a number… It is more about the connection. Once there is a strong connection, I don’t think every other thing matters,” he explained.

However, Gardiner was quick to clear up any misconceptions, making it clear that his openness does not mean he is interested in so-called transactional relationships.

“I don’t like sugar mommies, ooh,” he added with a laugh.
