Ghana’s TikTok community is mourning the sudden death of popular content creator Osanju, whose passing has left fans and followers in deep shock.
Family members and close associates confirmed the news after initial reports began circulating on social media, with many at first dismissing it as yet another online hoax.
According to sources, Osanju’s death followed a brief illness, striking just hours after he had reportedly watched the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano match on Sunday, August 31, 2025. His openness about living with leukemia, a blood cancer he had documented on TikTok, makes the news even more poignant, particularly as he had on several occasions spoken ominously about his own mortality.
Osanju’s journey resonated with many, even drawing the attention of actress Nana Ama McBrown, who once hosted him on her talk show Onua Showtime.
Tragedy compounded his story earlier this year when he buried his mother, Amounu, herself a TikToker, in January. He had shared his grief with followers, only to face his own passing just five months later.
