Nana Ama McBrown’s quiet yet substantial support became a lifeline for TikTok creator Osanju during his exhausting struggle with leukemia, a grieving family member has revealed.
In a heartfelt interview shared on social media on September 2, 2025, the relative recounted how Osanju’s nights were often punctuated by sudden health crises, sending the family racing to hospitals while medical expenses piled up. Despite the turmoil, the young influencer managed to keep up with his treatments, relying on his own persistence and the goodwill of strangers.
Among those benefactors, McBrown’s role was striking.
“He got money from a lot of sympathisers, especially Nana Ama McBrown. He said she gave him some money he could have used to build a storey building. But he used it to buy medicine to save his life,” she said.
The family member described countless late-night dashes to clinics with her husband whenever Osanju’s condition deteriorated. Alarm grew when he was admitted to Mount Sinai Hospital, and the tension deepened as he was later transferred by ambulance to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, moments she felt signaled the inevitable.
She also acknowledged Osanju’s landlord, praising his willingness to help transport the ailing popular TikToker during his final, desperate fight.
