Men Approaching Women Isn’t Wrong If Boundaries Are Respected – Jacinta

comedienne Jacinta

Jacinta Ocansey is challenging the notion that every romantic gesture from a man toward a woman is automatically suspect, arguing that trouble begins only when boundaries are ignored or power is abused.

During a discussion on Hitz FM, the Ghanaian comedienne said men approaching women is a natural part of human interaction and should not be instantly condemned.

“I don’t see anything wrong with a man making passes at a woman. It depends on you as a woman; nothing spoils if you want it or not. A man would always make advances at a woman, it’s you, you want or you don’t want? He would move to the next person. It doesn’t make him a bad man and it does not make you a better woman,” she explained.

Jacinta emphasized that women have the right to decide whether to reciprocate, and once a clear refusal is given, the man is expected to accept it and move on.

For her, the real danger emerges when men disregard that refusal or exploit situations to pressure women into unwanted actions.

“Sometimes when people try to make it look like…unless you are becoming abusive or toxic, that’s when there’s a problem. Unless in a situation where I’ve told you no and you’re still pushing it or you are trying to make me feel like if I don’t do this you won’t do that for me. If you are in a position to do something for me and you’re trying to use that against me, I feel that’s really unfair,” Jacinta stated.

Below is a video of what she said.
