21 Eggs and a Calabash – Celestine Donkor Details Terrifying Spiritual Attack

Celestine Donkor

Ghanaian gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, has shared a deeply unsettling experience that she believes was a spiritual attack aimed at her family through the use of black magic.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar, Celestine said she and her husband received a disturbing call from an attendant at their photo and rehearsal studio. The caller informed them that strange objects had been left at the studio’s entrance, prompting them to rush to the scene.

When they arrived, they found 21 white eggs and a calabash filled with beans, rice, millet, maize, and groundnuts. Inside the calabash was a white cloth and a folded paper with their family’s names written on it. Celestine described the sight as shocking and unsettling, especially because of the day it occurred.

She recalled that the items had been placed there on a Friday morning, a day she said carried personal meaning since her husband was born on a Friday.

Faced with what they believed to be a spiritual threat, Celestine said she and her husband turned immediately to prayer, joining their prayer partners to seek divine protection. They leaned on scriptures from Isaiah 54:17 and Isaiah 7:7 for strength and guidance. That intense moment of faith, she added, later inspired her gospel song “I Carry Fire.”

Celestine Donkor later revealed that multiple sources suggested the ritual act may have been connected to someone within the gospel music industry.
