A viral video showing Nollywood actress Regina Daniels in obvious distress has prompted alarm across social media and renewed speculation about her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
In the widely shared clip, Regina is seen crying while several unidentified people try to console her. The footage does not make clear what prompted the scene, but at one point she can be heard saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Some viewers have suggested the video could be behind-the-scenes footage or a promotional clip for a film. Others worry it reflects a real-life incident of domestic violence. The uncertainty has driven intense online debate and concern among fans.
Regina Daniels, who married 59-year-old Ned Nwoko in 2019 while still a teenager, has attracted public attention since the union. Nwoko is a serving senator and Regina is widely reported to be one of his multiple wives.
Adding fuel to the controversy, Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman, known as Sammy West, posted an emotional message on his Instagram Story on Saturday accusing Nwoko of physical assault. He wrote, “Makachi, e pain me say una wan finally laugh my sister. Let me repeat anywhere wey man dey beat woman, wheter na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood. Senator Ned Nwoko, you get luck say after you beat my sister again, smash her head for wall, you wan comot send thugs! I swear I for burst all your jaw.”
As of now, neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has issued a public statement addressing the video or the allegations. Fans and rights advocates are watching closely, calling for clarity and, if necessary, accountability.
