Ghana Armed Forces Extends Recruitment Deadline: Here’s Why

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has extended its recruitment deadline by one week after technical glitches disrupted access to the online application portal.

In a statement signed by Colonel Evelyn Ntiamoah Asamoah on behalf of the Acting Director General of Public Relations, the military said the new closing date for applications is November 7, 2025.

“The Ghana Armed Forces has extended the deadline for the ongoing recruitment exercise by one week due to technical challenges encountered on the recruitment portal during the initial period. The new deadline is November 7, 2025,” the statement read.

The Armed Forces also apologized for the inconvenience caused, assuring the public that the issues have been resolved.

“The Armed Forces regrets any inconvenience caused and counts on the cooperation of the general public,” it added.
