How Wendy Shay Earns $10,000 a Week Through Music Streaming

Wendy Shay

Anyone who still doubts the profitability of modern music might need to hear from Wendy Shay. The Ghanaian singer says the digital era is treating her well, and the numbers behind her streams prove it.

In a discussion on Adom TV, the ‘Too Late’ singer explained that online platforms have become a major financial engine for her career. She noted that every week brings in substantial earnings from multiple streaming services, even though she usually prefers to keep her money matters private.

“I don’t like to talk about my finances on air, but I receive thousands of dollars every week,” Wendy Shay disclosed.

She said one of her biggest recent surprises came from YouTube, which delivered an eye-catching payment.

“I was there this week when $10,000 dropped from YouTube, and that’s just YouTube alone,” the Ghanaian singer revealed.

Wendy Shay attributed these consistent payouts to the continuous circulation of her catalogue. She highlighted that fans stream her songs every day, and the constant activity is what fuels the weekly revenue she described.
