Reggie Rockstone has offered a candid reminder about what truly holds a marriage together, saying the commitment requires patience and intentional effort, not glamour or celebrity status.
During a discussion on Joy Prime, the Hiplife pioneer said that fame does not shield him from the everyday issues couples face, adding that the challenges of marriage are universal.
Responding to suggestions that dating a public figure is unusually difficult, Reggie said people often overlook the fact that celebrities are ordinary individuals behind the spotlight.
“I’m like everybody else. I go through the ups and downs, I’m actually a stubborn man. Marriage is work. If you’re not patient enough, don’t try it,” he said.
He encouraged anyone who struggles with patience to stay in regular relationships until they feel truly ready to commit.
While acknowledging the pressure that comes with marriage, he pointed out that the experience also brings meaningful and joyful moments.
“Just continue being in relationships and don’t think of marriage if you’re impatient. It’s hard work, but it’s easy as well. Love is good and it’s natural to have a partner,” Reggie Rockstone averred.
