Mzbel Reveals Why She Avoids Frequent Sex and Chooses Older, Married Partners

Ghanaian entertainer and businesswoman Mzbel has shared candid details about her romantic preferences, revealing that she gravitates toward relationships with older, married men rather than younger partners.

During a conversation with Nana Romeo on UTV’s ‘Atuu’, the 45-year-old singer spoke openly about her personal life, explaining that she is currently in an open relationship and has rarely experienced being unattached. She remarked that she has “never been single.”

Reflecting on her dating history, Mzbel indicated that while she has been involved with numerous men, intimacy has never been the primary motivation behind her relationships. She emphasised this point, stating, “I am not the type who likes sex. That is why I prefer older men, especially married men.”

She explained that her choice is influenced by differences she has observed between younger and older partners. In her view, younger men often expect sexual activity more frequently, particularly when they provide financial support. By contrast, she suggested that older, married men are often preoccupied with responsibilities and therefore less likely to make similar demands.

“Younger men will demand sex all the time. Older men who are married are usually too busy and tired to be demanding sex. They just give you the money. Younger guys want sex anytime they give you money,” she said.

Mzbel further noted that she prefers intimacy to happen on her own schedule, stressing the importance of emotional connection and comfort before such moments occur.

“I like sex when I’m ready for it, and it has to happen gradually. Maybe we go for a dinner and have a nice time, and then I get in the mood. I find it weird when a guy comes over and suddenly wants sex,” Mzbel stated.
