I Wrote 90% of Sarkodie’s ‘Mary’ Album – Akwaboah Reveals

Akwaboah and Sarkodie

Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah has opened up about his pivotal role in crafting Sarkodie’s ‘Mary’ album.

During an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Aluta FM, Akwaboah said he was behind almost all of the album’s songs.

“I did 90% of Mary’s album. I wrote almost every song. I think I only didn’t work on two songs on the album. I also produced the album,” he revealed.

The singer also addressed circulating claims suggesting Sarkodie failed to recognize his contributions on a past project, dismissing them as false.

“The statement I made was about my growth as an artist; it was not about Sarkodie. No one should go looking for trouble between Sarkodie and me,” Akwaboah added, urging fans not to fan unnecessary tensions.
