Mr Beautiful Signals Political Move, Says He Dreams of Becoming President

Mr Beautiful

Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, widely known as Mr Beautiful, says he is open to pursuing the highest office in the country and is prepared to begin the journey into frontline politics when the conditions allow.

The outspoken supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) made the remarks during a recent appearance on Hitz FM, where he discussed his political aspirations and the possibility of stepping beyond advocacy into active leadership.

During the conversation, the actor revealed that the idea of becoming Ghana’s president is one he has seriously thought about and is willing to chase.

“Yes, I have an interest in occupying a political position. I want to become the next president. Who wouldn’t want to be in that position? I want to become means it’s a process. I will go through a certain process to become,” he said.

Mr Beautiful explained that his entry into politics would likely begin at the parliamentary level, depending on whether he secures the backing and resources required to contest.

“I can start with being MP if I have the resources and my constituency thinks that I can serve them better, I will go for it,” he shared.

He also stressed that he does not subscribe to the idea of postponing ambitions while waiting for the so called perfect moment.

“I’m not the kind of person who would think it’s not their time. It’s my time and I will always dream big. You have to dream big and start now,” Mr Beautiful further stated.
