27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards

The biggest night in Ghanaian music unfolded in spectacular fashion on Saturday, May 9, 2026, as the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards brought together top artistes, entertainment figures and music fans at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The Grand Arena buzzed with energy throughout the evening as guests arrived in style for a ceremony packed with glamour, live performances and emotional moments. Across Ghana and beyond, millions tuned in to follow the prestigious awards show and see which artistes would take home the coveted honours.

Once again, the annual event delivered a memorable celebration of Ghanaian music, blending electrifying performances with heartfelt acceptance speeches that kept audiences entertained from start to finish.

Some of the industry’s biggest names recorded impressive wins on the night. Black Sherif walked home with the Artiste of the Year title.
